WOD (Workout Of the Day):
These workouts are the core of the program and vary from session to session by mixing the key elements of Weightlifting, Gymnastics (Body Weight), and Metabolic Conditioning (Run, Row, Ride).
STRENGTH/WEIGHTLIFTING:
Strength sessions focus on developing the core Strength lifts (Squat, Deadlift, Clean, Press), improving overall strength and power which benefits all sporting endeavours.
These sessions are based on the programming of CrossFit's experts on strength
Mark Rippetoe and Lon Kilgore Ph.D.
Weightlifting sessions focus on developing the Olympic lifts for dynamic power and explosiveness including Snatch, Clean and Jerk.
We also occassionally throw in Kettlbells Powerlifting, strongman and anything you can think of to keep it interesting and challenging!
